Colso was set up in 1974 and was formed under Southern Fruit Enterprises Group. Since this time it has become a key link to several companies supply chain within the food sector. Storing product which demand different handling and temperature requirements. We are approved by the Dept of Agriculture to store Bovine, Porcine, Dairy and Fish produce.
Colso has grown in recent years and has now expanded its site where it holds 20 separate temperature controlled rooms. This gives our site huge amounts of flexibility as all rooms can be changed to cater for ambient, chill or frozen product, depending on customer requirements. In total Colso can hold in excess of 20,000 pallets.
Our business is driven by Irish and International customers who export globally. We provide customers with services such as blast freezing, cross docking, order picking, stock management and reworking/repackaging of product. Key to nurturing relationships with our customers is the level of trust built up between both parties. We guarantee that our customers needs and their products are consistently managed to highest standard.
We take pride in our role in the effective global distribution of our customer’s product. We are a BRC certified business and we constantly review our procedures, processes, facilities and staffing to ensure our rating is kept at premier level.
